Isolontape (IXPE tape) is a cross-linked polyethylene foam tape with a permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The range includes several grades (A, N, V, M) and various widths, offering high adhesion and versatile use in construction and industry. The material is easy to apply, compatible with most common substrates, and resistant to moisture and temperature fluctuations. Manufacturing and quality control are carried out in accordance with TU 22.21.41-040-00203476-2023.
The information below is based on the current revision of TU 22.21.41-040-00203476-2023 with Amendments No.1 (25.10.2023) and No.2 (29.01.2024), effective from 01.02.2024.
⚖️ Previous revisions of the TU and test reports (incl. details on width, roll length, strength and visual appearance) are available on request.

Store in closed, dry, well-ventilated premises, away from sources of heat and direct sunlight.
Temperature: +5…+35 °C, relative humidity up to 80 % without condensation.
Avoid contact of the adhesive layer with dust, oils and solvents; keep in the original manufacturer’s packaging.
Stack rolls without deformation (on pallets with spacers); keep at least 1 m away from heaters.
Before use, condition the material under service conditions for at least 24 h (acclimatization).
Guaranteed shelf life of ISOLONTAPE tapes is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
After expiry, the batch may be used only after tests have confirmed compliance with the TU specification.
Rolls/reels are packed in protective film or cartons; on pallets — with spacers and strapping.
Labelling includes: product name/designation, dimensions, adhesive/liner type, batch number, date.
Reinforced and pallet packaging is available on request.
Transport in covered vehicles in accordance with applicable freight regulations, in the original manufacturer’s packaging.
Protect from moisture, contamination, mechanical damage and prolonged pressure/overheating.
Do not place near solvents, oils or other chemically active substances.
Profile sealing, junctions, acoustics, HVAC, pipes, anti-squeak and more.
Typical tape thickness/width: 1–10 mm × 10–100 mm (master rolls up to 1 m wide with subsequent slitting). Application temperature: +10…+35 °C, service temperature: −60…+80 °C.
| Application | Recommended thickness | Typical width | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Drywall profiles (dichtungsband) | 3 mm | 50 mm | Reduces vibrations/squeaks, seals the profile-to-wall joint. |
| Facade/partition junctions and details | 3–5 mm | 30–70 mm | Gap compensation and moisture protection (according to project detail). |
| Window/door mounting joints | 3–5 mm | 20–50 mm | Sealing and damping; airtightness class — according to the installation system. |
| Anti-squeak / damping (furniture, vehicles, appliances) | 1–3 mm | 10–30 mm | Self-adhesive backing speeds up assembly; reduces parasitic vibrations. |
| HVAC — joints and connections | 5–10 mm | 30–70 mm | Sealing and thermal break; joints of foil-faced systems closed with aluminium tape. |
| Pipes — wrapping / under clamps | 3–10 mm | 20–50 mm | Spiral wrap in 1–2 layers, protects against condensate and squeaks under clamps. |
| Acoustics — battens/joists, “floating” floor schemes | 3–5 mm | 30–50 mm | Reduces impact noise; avoid rigid bridges. |
| Interlayer pads / edge protection in transport | 2–5 mm | 10–50 mm | Protection against scratches/impacts; quick edge taping. |
Available options: LA/LM (foil / metallised film), variants with code N (balanced low-tack acrylic for dichtungsband). Roll length depends on thickness (typically 20–30 m).
