Packaging and labelling

  • Rolls are wound onto cardboard cores with an inner diameter of Ø77 mm (wall thickness ≥ 1 mm); the roll end is fixed with tape or string (in accordance with GOST 17308).
  • Sheets are stacked into packs up to 400 mm high and wrapped in polyethylene film.
  • Label (on roll/pack) includes: manufacturer and trademark product name and colour batch number and production date dimensions: thickness × width × length quantity: m² or pcs. technical specification (TU) reference quality control stamp handling symbols (e.g. “keep away from sunlight”, “do not use hooks”) information on certificates/declarations
Based on technical specification TU 22.21.41-047-00203476-2019 (Warmlex).

Manufacturer’s warranty

  • The guaranteed shelf life of the material is 12 months from the date of manufacture, provided that the specified storage conditions are observed.
  • The material retains its properties throughout the entire service life when used correctly.

Storage conditions

  • Store in covered warehouse areas, protected from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Recommended storage temperature range: from −25 °C to +40 °C.
  • Do not place the material closer than 1 m to heating devices.
  • Store rolls in a horizontal position; stack height not more than 2 m.
  • Store sheets on pallets or in stacks up to 400 mm high.

Where Warmlex rolls are used and which thickness to choose

Non-crosslinked polyethylene foam in rolls 1–10 mm (width 1.05 / 1.3 / 1.6 m). For thicknesses >10 mm use the mat version.

Application Recommended thickness Notes
Underlay for laminate / engineered wood flooring 2–3 mm Impact sound reduction and cushioning. Requires an even subfloor; tape the joints.
Underlay for low-temperature underfloor heating 2–5 mm For low-temperature systems. Foil-faced Warmlex is often used; follow the heating system design guidelines.
Interlayer pads / protective packaging 1–5 mm Separation of layers, protection against scratches and light impacts. Can be slit into sheets or tapes.
Sealing tapes / anti-squeak solutions 1–3 mm Self-adhesive grades are convenient for assembly; damping of joints and panel interfaces.
Acoustic underlay (floating floor) 3–5 mm Reduction of impact sound; tape all joints to avoid acoustic bridges.
Ducts (HVAC), panels 5–10 mm Thermal and vapour insulation, often with foil. Seal all joints with aluminium tape.
Pipe insulation (spiral wrapping) 5–10 mm Spiral wrapping in 1–2 layers; consider pipe diameter and service conditions.
Construction underlays / separation layers 3–8 mm Compensation of minor unevenness, separation of materials, moisture-resistant layer.

Warmlex rolls: typical thickness range 1–10 mm, widths 1.05 / 1.3 / 1.6 m, service temperature around −60…+80 °C.

Objective: reduce footfall noise in corridors. Solution – Warmlex 3 mm underlay with taped joints. Result – quieter circulation areas and fast installation.

Rectangular ducts wrapped with Warmlex 8 mm (foil-faced). Reduced heat loss and a neat appearance; joints sealed with aluminium tape.

Rolls slit into 2 mm tapes with acrylic adhesive. Eliminated parasitic squeaks between panels and reduced assembly time.
