Safety information and material composition can be provided on request for Isolon, Warmlex and Isolontape. Where applicable, we share SDS, conformity letters and general safety statements.

European buyers often request information on material safety or composition, especially for construction, HVAC, packaging and OEM applications. This article explains what we can provide and how such information is typically documented.

Safety documentation available

For foam materials based on IXPE/XPE and EPE, LIRIDA-M can provide one or more of the following:

• Safety Data Sheet (SDS) or equivalent safety declaration;
• a general conformity letter for the supplied product;
• technical specification (TU) with physical and mechanical properties;
• manufacturer’s statements on composition (where applicable);
• information for specific industry applications (on request).

Information for EU buyers

For most applications foam materials are classified as inert and stable. However, regulations and technical requirements differ between industries, so safety declarations may vary depending on the use case.

— packaging and furniture materials may require different safety statements than HVAC or construction;
— some applications may require chemical restrictions, declarations or testing;
— for OEM or tenders additional documentation can be prepared.
